GD Entry Update!

Well, it's time to push for the finish line! GD is just around the corner and I have ALOT of work to still do. Below are some pictures of my still WIP Khorne Lord in Terminator Armor. I'm hoping that I just place top three with this model as it is the one model that I have spent the most time on and lots of lovin'. Maybe over 16+ hours so far and still some more to be done to finish. If I don't place...maybe an honorable mention or best of forgeworld would be nice :D

Anyways, enough yapping by me...I gotta get back to painting. Leave a comment pls. I love to read them and respond.

Well you have done a stunning job, especially on that cape - I wish you the best of luck when it comes to it mate!

Wow, great job. I especially like the cape and the icon on the base. Might have to try something similar with my World Eaters.

Good luck for GD

As you proved last year, slap a skull on something and its a shoe in to win! :) This guy should be a contender for the FW awards at least. You've come pretty far in making the armor pop and eye catching, but still keeping with the dark and brooding Khorne look. The highlights on the planet in the mouth on the leg are one of those great little touches that lend towards making the model stand out but might not be noticed. I have a feeling we will be doing some finishing Friday night in the hotel! I will bring some extra lighting! :)

I converted and painted one for last years Astro Vancouver. I had to paint most of the model in three very, very long days...

I used the mask and I think I left off some spikes and skulls but I added stuff too. It's on Flickr and elsewhere.

Good luck!
