WHAT IS IT ABOUT
It is a crazy idea brought to our attention by John & Mike over at Santa Cruz Warhammer, but for an awesome cause.
The charity build is going to depict the 3rd battle of Armageddon where there will be four 3,000 point armies built, then given away at this year's Games Day in Chicago!!! *(more on how you can win an amazing army below)
The following armies along with the team leaders for each army are as follows:
Steel Legion - Dave Taylor
Blood Angels - Jawaballs
Ork Hordes - Mad Boy Genius (Spikey Bits)
Speed Freaks - Goatboy (BOLS)
Each team leader will be responsible for the building and painting execution of their armies. So check out their blogs.
THE GOOD CAUSE
The charity is being run for an organization called 'Doctors without Borders'. All the money that is being raised will be sent to this organization for basically helping others that are in need all over the world.
HOW TO WIN AN ARMY
Basically all you have to do is support to the charity fund. You can see the 'Contribution' tab on the top right of my blog or any other supporters of this event. For each dollar you will win a chance at winning one of the four armies. Supporting $10 will buy yourself 10 chances and so on. The supports will be accepted until July (will post the date as it gets closer) and then four names will be chosen. Those four people will be the lucky winners of an amazing army giveaway brought to you by some amazing people.
