DKoK Tank

Been awhile since the last post. I've been working on a DKoK Tank for a client and have the tank almost finished. I'm doing last minute detail work before I ship the model out tomorrow. For now I will post up some WIP pics. The final photos will be posted up sometime this week. Enjoy

The colours on that are excellent, did you use an airbrush?

I don't own a pot of Knarloc Green. Seeing what you've done with it means I soon will. Really a great effect you've done with it here.

Col. Corbane- No airbrush. Just layer after layer of knarloc green over orkhide shade foundation. I also did a very thin layer of grethcin green with a wash of thraka green (not pictured)

The foundation paints really cover well, but my only bad thing to say about it is that you can't water the paint down too much otherwise the color gets all goofy on you. I think it has to do with the stuff used to make foundation paint. Either way, I use it with washes and the regular GW colors to get the blends that I need.
